Yes it is something I did quite a few years ago. I thought of Bob's poem that he posted last week when you wrote disturbing in your comment. "Disturb us, O Lord." Thank you for your comment. I am glad I stirred up some emotion. Actually the peacock symbolizes Jesus; of course, and the Roman soldiers are the penguins.

I have dreamed many dreams, some have come true others haven't or maybe there are some to still come. God gives us what we need and some, but not always what we want. I pray never to lose my vision for the water of life and never allow my vision of heaven to grow dim. We get caught up in our earthly life and tend to forget there is a better life to come. One of my favorite prayers is the long version of the Serenity Prayer and the line I love is: "That we are reasonably happy in this life and will be supremely happy with HIM in the next. Thank you for sharing, I like to read this blog.

My mind is always dividing which divides me from God. Loved God is present in each cell of my body and I am not separate from God, but sometimes I cannot totally give God that Power to be one with God, I want to be in control. Is it our human nature not to trust or is it something we learn? I think it is something we learn. I'm getting off the subject.

I truly loved this song. Some thoughts that came to mind, just to share a few. The hope of living in the sunshine. Our sins washed away, and try not to sin again especially the sin of not loving. Living as one. Faith to believe in the here after, where all will be revealed because of the blood of Christ. Cheer up my brothers, live in the Sunshine.

@bkloos To me letting go is not a bad thing, it is just being at peace with the situation, in this case the death of your beloved wife Jean. God and Jean would want you to let go and make each day a blessing. At least I believe so.

I love the painting. I feel the area above Jesus needs to be brighter with more Yellows and bright contrast, Jesus is the light of the world. A beautiful bright light of an everlasting tomorrow. I agree with Bob, Jesus looks like he is doing a swim stroke, the butterfly. At first I didn"t like the way his arms were but I loved what Dorthy said about the crucifixion, Jesus outstretching his arms in service to us us.
