WORSHIP
Worshiping together is central to the life of our community. Through our liturgies we are nourished, empowered and commissioned to do God's work in our world. Together we seek to preserve and renew the Catholic liturgical tradition, creating an inclusive and sacred space where all are welcomed, loved, and supported.
A Message from Joe
Rev. Joseph Blotz (he/him/his) Pastor/Administrator
Welcome! I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to share with you a bit about the Community of St. Peter. We are an independent, inclusive community of faith in the Catholic tradition where we proclaim that all are welcomed, loved, and supported on their faith journeys.
We believe that our sharing of the Eucharist (the Bread and Wine we confess to be the Body and Blood of Christ) and the Word (known in the life of Jesus and witnessed to in Scripture) challenges us to live the message of Jesus: to love and respect all people, serve the most vulnerable, and work for peace for justice in our world.
We envision an inclusive church that serves as a beacon to all who are drawn to the Catholic tradition and the teachings of Jesus; free of the judgment that blocks individuals from full participation and acceptance. May the One who accompanies us on all of our journeys continue to go with you as you explore community, faith, and service.."
